Is Silence a language?

Language was a tool developed by our ancestors to express our thoughts n feelings to others. We can write & speak to tell what we are feeling whether good or bad. But however languages one may know there are some feelings which can not be expressed in words. The feeling of happiness on achieving something, feeling of sadness on leaving something, a mix of these feelings etc. You can never express the feeling of happiness in any language but just a big colgate smile shows it all. Such a way you can never express your deep sorrows in words, a tear rolling down your cheek shows it all. Does this mean language is an ineffective tool. No, it helps you to tell the world reason for your feeling but cannot describe your feeling.

Is silence a language. I believe it completely is. But a language which only people close to your heart can understand because when someone is close to you then there is no need of words. Our mom's are the best example of this, even from kilometres away she can judge that we are not behaving normal how-much we try to. Many a times in life we want people to understand what we are going through without even saying a word. This silence is the best & the most difficult language. Best for the person expressing it & difficult for the person he is expressing to. It is this language of silence which helps us to talk to ourself. We dont need words always to say what we feel.

A language which has been provided to every living creature, Silence is the best tool of expressing yourself because people who cant understand your silence will never understand your words.
